IFS and Neurodiversity

This 3 hr webinar offered through the Australian Psychological Assocation is designed to deepen understanding of how IFS can be a powerful tool in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergence. In this session, I will highlight how the IFS approach can be tailored to meet the specific needs of neurodivergent individuals.

2025 Autism Symposium

May 7th - 9th, 2025

Trauma often has a profound and amplified impact on autistic individuals, shaped by their unique sensory, social, and emotional processing differences. Misunderstanding or misinterpreting these dynamics can complicate the therapeutic process—and may even unintentionally cause harm. This 90 minute workshop looks at what happens in the brain and body as a result of autism and how this can mirror the effects trauma.
