Training & Speaking

​​​I develop trainings for groups ranging from small clinical teams to large professional organizations. Programs can be introductory or advanced and are tailored to the needs of the audience. Topics include autism and predictive processing; uncertainty, predictability, and nervous-system arousal; sensory experience and regulation; emotion and interoception; masking and the costs of adaptation; autism-informed use of Internal Family Systems; relationships and communication; and the ways autistic behavior can be misinterpreted in clinical and legal settings.

My goal is not simply to give participants more information about autism. It is to change the lens through which they understand autistic experience.

Professional Consultation

I consult with clinicians and organizations who have complex questions involving autism, neurodivergence, communication, emotional experience, and behavior. Consultation may focus on an individual case, the development of autism-attuned services or programs, staff education, or the translation of emerging neuroscience into practical approaches that can be used in real-world settings.
